Will Bolt Named Head Coach at Texarkana JC
Texarkana College President Frank Coleman today announced the appointment of Texas A&M University Assistant Coach William E. Bolt Jr. as the new Baseball Coach for the TC Men's Baseball Team.
Bolt is in his second season as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Texas A&M baseball program after serving the 2004 season in the same capacity at Nebraska under Mike Anderson and Rob Childress.
According to Mr. Coleman, Bolt comes highly recommended from coaches Dave Van Horn and Rob Childress, both former head coaches at TC. Van Horn is the head coach at the University of Arkansas and Childress is the Head Coach at Texas A&M.
"To have a young man of Will's caliber interested in leading our program, and who comes so highly praised by the likes of Dave Van Horn, Matt Deggs, and Rob Childress, is extremely exciting.", said Coleman. "I am confident that Will possesses the playing, coaching and leadership experience necessary to be a very positive influence for the Baseball program and bring a National Championship home to Texarkana"

Austin American Statesman article on Ben Feltner
If I am NOT on the radio, I will do a live blog from the games in Austin. Remember the Friday night game from Olsen Field will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest and other Fox Sports stations around the country.
Brent Zwerneman and Bryan Davis did interviews after last nights 11-6 victory over McNeese State and they will have stories that I will link to in the coming days.
Here is another story on College Baseball Coaches fighting back against the recent scholarship changes.
